1. The Apple iPad

is a big letdown for me, personally. I was hoping for a fully interactive MacBook Pro-caliber slate PC.

While I am definitely not going to be purchasing an iPad, I did come across two things of interest- 1.) Mac OS X on a Dell netbook, and 2.) A company called Axiotron sells pretty cool tablets of just what I mentioned I wish the iPad were. They are a bit pricey, though.

There is a program in beta called Axiotron Quickscript. If you have a Wacom tablet I highly recommend you check it out. It is handwriting recognition software that is good, really good. It makes Apple’s Ink program look like it was developed by Microsoft!
